Swim Test
The swim test is done in a yards pool. We swim 550 yards. It is a standard pool swim; flip turns and goggles are allowed. Once a month we will swim 500 meters in the ocean as part of training. All applicants and returning lifeguards should prepare to swim 550 yards in 10 minutes or less on the first day of training.
