| | Lack’s within the Community
Throughout the year, Lack's Beach Service works hard to stay involved within the community. We educate the public on beach safety, teach young children about lifeguarding, have articles in local newspapers, and do local news interview.
The purpose of these events is to teach children and parents how to keep kids safe. Children enjoyed receiving coloring books, beach safety information, and getting there photo taken in a lifeguard tower! | | |

Each season we have collected eyeglasses to donate to The Gift of Sight though Lenscrafters. Guards find lost glasses on the beach all the time, sometimes the glasses are returned to the owner. However if not, we donate them. Together the guards collected over 300 different glasses to turn in!

| During the months of June, July and August Lack's sends a lifeguard to the Children's Museum. Matt Merriman represented the company at the Meseum! He shared his experience as a lifeguard with the children. Matt taught the children what to do if they become lost at the beach, and what happens when you get stung by a jelly fish. |  | |
