Meet The Staff
* George Lack George Lack has owned and operated Lack's and North Beach service for 30 years. Seeing a need for quality beach furniture in 1979 he founded Lack's Outdoor Furniture which manufactures a line of beach umbrellas, chairs, and cabanas seen in resorts worldwide. George is also a partner in Downwind Sails (watersports) and Damon's Restaurant (a lifeguard favorite). George received the Karl D. Righter Memorial Award in 2004. Active both in businesses and in the community George is a face you will see often on the beach. He is truly the original David Hasselhoff. |

* Wes Cox Wes has worked for Lack's Beach Service since 1993. He started out as a lifeguard, receiving the Lifeguard of the Year Award his second year in 1994. Wes has worked as a Lifeguard, Lifeguard Supervisor, Equipment Manager and now he is the Manager for the south end guards. He has been the South End Manager for the past 5 years. In 2003, Wes received the Karl D. Righter Jr. Memorial Award because of his strong dedication to the beach service. Currently he serves as an instructor in Personal Watercraft Rescue. |  |
* Joe Beach Come on down and lay on the best beach in Town. Joe Beach is the first to receive the Karl D. Righter Jr. Memorial Award in 1996. He has been working for the beach service since the beginning of time. Joe has had every position possible within the company. He is presently the Manager for the North end guards. Joe can be seen at Biminis about every night getting his groove on. During the off season he remains loyal to Biminis and travels around the world to visit all of his wives. |  |
*Renelle Wolff Renelle started working for Lack's Beach Service in 2001. She started out as a lifeguard and then became a Lifeguard Supervisor. During the summer season of 2003, Renelle received the Horry County Lifesaving Association Leadership Award. She graduated college from West Virginia University in December 2003. Renelle is currently the Training Officer for the Beach Service. During the off season you will find Renelle chillin with her new dog, ellie. | .jpg) |

* Loren Helsa Loren has been working in the city limits of Myrtle Beach since the summer of 2001. He is very knowledgeable with personal watercrafts and enjoys teaching the guards how to use them. Loren spends his off season hunting, surfing and traveling. | .JPG) |
